Benjamin Nicholls, Executive Director

Benjamin Nicholls, a native of New Zealand, has worked in community and economic development for over eight years. Prior to working for Discover Pacific Beach he served as the Program Manager for the Pioneer Square Community Association in Seattle working on public space renewal, economic development, and public safety issues. Benjamin has worked on a variety of political campaigns and for several nonprofit agencies. He began working with communities as an aide for a legislator in the New Zealand Parliament. Benjamin lives in the neighborhood of Mission Hills, San Diego.

Sara Woodcock, Program Manager

Sara, a native from New England has worked with non-profit groups for the past three years. Sara graduated from Westfield State College with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She came to San Diego in 2003 to complete a Professional Certificate Program in Event Management from The University of San Diego. Sara completed her event and marketing internship at Sharp HealthCare. Prior to coming to Discover Pacific Beach, Sara was the Director of Operations for the San Diego Senior Olympics. As a resident of Pacific Beach, she is very enthusiastic about making a difference in her own community and creating a better image for Pacific Beach as a whole.
